action films, The Onion Movie delivers hard-hitting headlines -- and side-splitting laughs!
6月3號，「洋蔥新聞」(onion news)拍了第一部DVD --- 《the Onion Movie》，作為粉絲當然第一時間找來看了，一貫的「洋蔥」，笑到流眼淚。不了解Onion News的同志，李有鬼老師的「新聞亂播」就是對應的中文版。不過Onion News有自己的文字報道、新聞視頻、出版物等等，總之都是「假新聞」，非常荒誕，但對現實諷刺的厲害，極度搞笑。這里是他們的網站：http://www.theonion.com/content/index。
這次的電影又把美國各族裔損了個遍，損得尤其厲害的是白人和亞裔。美語里有個詞叫」wigga」，專指故意在語言、穿著、行為上模仿黑人的白人（由於黑人音樂、電影文化的盛行，這種白人小青年隨處可見），在這部洋蔥新聞里，他們都被當成negro抓起來了，有一哥們兒被推進警車的時候還大喊：「可是我是白人！我爸我媽都是白人！」
損亞裔尤其損的不露聲色。新聞中間請了兩位嘉賓評價內容，一位大約是「黑人影協」的會員，另一位是亞裔。那位黑人說：「電影都播了快30分鍾了，目前看到的黑人都是反面形象，繼續這么下去我們很擔心，希望在下十分鍾里就看到關於黑人的正面報道。」然後主持人轉向那位亞裔：「電影都30分鍾了，裡面沒什麼關於亞洲人的鏡頭，您認為是什麼原因造成了這種『不被重視』的現象呢？（原文用了個很有趣的詞 --- underrepresented，「沒被充分代表的」）」那位亞裔說了一句話，誰也沒聽懂，主持人請他重復一遍，還是沒人聽懂，然後主持人說：「好吧，讓我們把畫面切回到新聞。」
