炳斗好不容易拼下來一個娛樂場所經營權被黑幫老闆的一個手下奪走，他又一次陷入絕境。這個時候黑幫組織里的黃會長給炳斗一個提案。黃會長說：「你把總給我搗亂的檢察官擺平，我就保證你的未來要什麼有什麼。」炳斗考慮了一下最後還是決定鋌而走險。

被「慾望」所控制的人間百態
電影《卑劣的街頭》故事不僅僅局限於特定的黑幫階層。裡面還有我們人間所存在的關於「慾望」的更廣泛的故事。影片中悲慘的三流黑幫終將成為慾望的奴隸。指向成功和飛翔的慾望深深地烙印在了電影里所有的人物心中，而因為慾望將產生背叛與被背叛、毀滅與成功。影片《卑劣的街頭》中隱藏的暴力一一暴露出來是因為有慾望在作怪。透過炳斗這個人物反映出我們人類對成功和美好人生所嚮往的慾望，更深一層的說明我們慾望的存在是與「家族主義」相聯系的。在家族的名義下我們可以不惜一切代價來生存，來為家庭做貢獻。

電影《卑劣的街頭》把觸角伸到了黑幫世界的中央，然後講述關於他們最真實的故事。在導演的努力取材下黑幫的實際行動很真實的反映到了影片中，黑幫們日常說的用語都成為了影片里的台詞，影片現實又客觀的把黑幫形象描述了出來。導演試圖把《卑劣的街頭》與其他暴力電影區別開來，他不想美化黑幫也不想衡量黑幫的道德尺寸。他想追求的是暴力電影本身的魅力。

趙仁成，真正的演員在這里
電影《卑劣的街頭》因為青春偶像派明星趙仁成變身黑幫角色，影片還未拍攝就成為了人們談論的話題。之前趙仁成在很多電視劇中扮演的角色是貴公子形象，深受女性觀眾喜愛。看完劇本強烈表示想出演該電影的趙仁成對電影《卑劣的街頭》也是鍾愛有佳。剪短頭發、變化眼神、一身酷裝等除了外表上的變化外他在片場上的動作戲同樣讓人感覺到他對這部影片的熱愛。片場上他傷了又傷，100回合的打鬥他完成了95％，使現場的工作人員都很吃驚。希望能成為真正的演員的趙仁成遇見了導演劉河，趙仁成與導演一拍即合，在電影的拍攝過程中趙仁成度過了最有價值的演藝生涯。

個性派演員們的出色演技

武術指導申在明帶給大家的黑幫真實打鬥
電影《卑劣的街頭》中真實的動作場面可以說是武術指導申在明的傑作。早在電影《馬粥街殘酷史》時導演劉河與武術指導申在明就有過完美的合作。這次他們一致的目標就是展示出真實的打鬥場面，而不是華而不實的打鬥場面。影片中並沒有強調黑幫的個性風度，而強調了為了活下來揮舞拳頭的真實形象。這些特點可以在以下幾個打鬥場面中完全體現。
仁川一個隧道里的群體打鬥。炳斗帶領的rotary派和對手三街派將在漢江公園進行一場搏鬥。數十人要同時登場同時打鬥，這給劇組的拍攝帶來了很大的苦惱。因為打鬥場地與演員們要完美的結合到一起，但漢江公園似乎不太符合這個條件。於是劇組在全國尋找其他地方，終於找到了仁川一個廢舊工廠附近的隧道。在寒冷的天氣下他們足足在那裡拍攝了一周的時間。演員們也非常的敬業，雖然天氣惡劣，場地都是泥土，但是他們還是拍出了非常真是的打鬥場面。
車上6對2的打鬥。在飛馳的車上將有倆黑幫幫派打鬥的場面。因為是在很窄的空間里進行打鬥，所以難度很大。劇組用了3天的時間才完成在車里的拍攝。演員們都說：「如果再在這里拍下去，可真活不下去了。」可見車上的打鬥有多驚險，有多真實。
千湖洞娛樂場所的打鬥。rotary派vs三街派在仁川隧道打鬥前的前戰是在千湖洞一家娛樂場所里進行。不知道的人路過這里，還以為真是娛樂場所里在打架。rotary派的娛樂場所開業儀式上三街派來砸場子，劇組為了體現一個個卑劣的形象，並沒有刻意安排好指定的武打動作，而是很大程度上讓演員自己發揮，在娛樂場所里他們砸機器，激烈的打鬥，影片打鬥的真實性在這里也完全可以體現。娛樂場所里的打鬥場面拍攝過後劇組發現娛樂機器已經壞掉了10台之多。
趙人成為做黑幫第二把交椅，身上紋了個龍
在考察實際的黑幫組織中劇組們得知黑幫組織根據自己在組織里的級別來確定紋身的大小和種類。因為炳斗是組織2號人物，所以背上要紋一隻巨龍。從前胸開始一直圍繞到後背底部的這個紋身花了一千萬韓元。這個臨時紋身的有效期為3天，僱傭了2位專門紋身專家，耗費了8小時的時間來完成的，趙仁成在這8小時里身子是不允許動的。在艱苦的努力下生動的龍紋身終於誕生了，這給趙仁成黑幫的形象創造了最大的威嚴。除了趙仁成的紋身外再加上他們rotary派的紋身的話紋身總共花了5千萬韓元。
《馬粥街殘酷史》原班人馬助陣《卑劣的街頭》
電影《卑劣的街頭》中有很多工作人員和導演是《馬粥街殘酷史》的原班人馬。
包括崔善中監制在內攝影導演崔賢基、美術指導金基哲、武術指導申在明等《馬粥街殘酷史》劇組人員悉數到場助陣。除了工作人員外《馬粥街殘酷史》的演員們也加入到了《卑劣的街頭》行列中。《馬粥街殘酷史》里的朴孝俊飾演《卑劣的街頭》rotary派的組織成員，而實際上rotary派很多組織成員都曾在《馬粥街殘酷史》亮過相。《馬粥街殘酷史》的工作人員和演員們2年後的再次聚首，使《卑劣的街頭》拍攝現場的氣氛非常的熱鬧和諧。他們之間的默契可以從眼神開始，《卑劣的街頭》能否再現《馬粥街殘酷史》300萬觀眾的輝煌讓我們拭目以待。
