清晨的第一縷陽光照在碧綠的草原上，雄雞對日長鳴，農場此起彼伏傳來家畜的叫聲。隨著鏡頭拉遠，我們看見這片燦爛光明的三維世界竟然藏在一個二維精靈的體內。他似乎是晝之精靈，他與白天融為一體。邁著輕快的步伐，晝之精靈四處遊走，突然看見一個呼呼大睡的傢伙。那也是一個二維精靈，其身體里是安靜祥和的三維黑夜世界，小羊羔正一隻只從圍欄處越過。顯而易見，這是夜之精靈，他不幸被充滿好奇的晝之精靈吵醒，兩個小傢伙你追我趕，自以為是，互較高下，不肯服輸。但在一連串的較量中，他們也似乎發現了對方的優點以及和自己的共通之處
