這是一條隱匿於紐約繁華大都市之中的窮街陋巷，如果說正面的、積極的、光明的一面屬於紐約，那麼負面的、消極的、黑暗的一切就屬於這條垃圾街。每一年，無法計數的流浪漢在這里集聚，爭斗，然後死去被徹底清理，我們的主人公弗雷德（Mike Lackey 飾）就其中的一員。窮困潦倒的他受盡了人情冷暖和世態炎涼的折辱，心裡滿載著對這個社會的仇恨於恐懼，不出意外的話，他會和這里所有的流浪漢一樣沒有尊嚴的度過一生後像一條狗一樣默默無聞的死去，可上帝給了他另外一個選擇。

一次偶然中，弗雷德得到了一瓶名為「Viper」的奇怪液體，誰喝下了這種液體，伴隨著巨大的痛苦，身體就會像被硫酸腐蝕一樣的融化。見識過了液體的恐怖威力之後，弗雷德心中憤怒的火苗被點燃了，他決心以此為武器，來報復每一個曾經欺辱過他的人。
