被“欲望”所控制的人间百态
电影《卑劣的街头》故事不仅仅局限于特定的黑帮阶层。里面还有我们人间所存在的关于“欲望”的更广泛的故事。影片中悲惨的三流黑帮终将成为欲望的奴隶。指向成功和飞翔的欲望深深地烙印在了电影里所有的人物心中，而因为欲望将产生背叛与被背叛、毁灭与成功。影片《卑劣的街头》中隐藏的暴力一一暴露出来是因为有欲望在作怪。透过炳斗这个人物反映出我们人类对成功和美好人生所向往的欲望，更深一层的说明我们欲望的存在是与“家族主义”相联系的。在家族的名义下我们可以不惜一切代价来生存，来为家庭做贡献。

电影《卑劣的街头》把触角伸到了黑帮世界的中央，然后讲述关于他们最真实的故事。在导演的努力取材下黑帮的实际行动很真实的反映到了影片中，黑帮们日常说的用语都成为了影片里的台词，影片现实又客观的把黑帮形象描述了出来。导演试图把《卑劣的街头》与其他暴力电影区别开来，他不想美化黑帮也不想衡量黑帮的道德尺寸。他想追求的是暴力电影本身的魅力。

赵仁成，真正的演员在这里

武术指导申在明带给大家的黑帮真实打斗
电影《卑劣的街头》中真实的动作场面可以说是武术指导申在明的杰作。早在电影《马粥街残酷史》时导演刘河与武术指导申在明就有过完美的合作。这次他们一致的目标就是展示出真实的打斗场面，而不是华而不实的打斗场面。影片中并没有强调黑帮的个性风度，而强调了为了活下来挥舞拳头的真实形象。这些特点可以在以下几个打斗场面中完全体现。
仁川一个隧道里的群体打斗。炳斗带领的rotary派和对手三街派将在汉江公园进行一场搏斗。数十人要同时登场同时打斗，这给剧组的拍摄带来了很大的苦恼。因为打斗场地与演员们要完美的结合到一起，但汉江公园似乎不太符合这个条件。于是剧组在全国寻找其他地方，终于找到了仁川一个废旧工厂附近的隧道。在寒冷的天气下他们足足在那里拍摄了一周的时间。演员们也非常的敬业，虽然天气恶劣，场地都是泥土，但是他们还是拍出了非常真是的打斗场面。
车上6对2的打斗。在飞驰的车上将有俩黑帮帮派打斗的场面。因为是在很窄的空间里进行打斗，所以难度很大。剧组用了3天的时间才完成在车里的拍摄。演员们都说：“如果再在这里拍下去，可真活不下去了。”可见车上的打斗有多惊险，有多真实。
千湖洞娱乐场所的打斗。rotary派vs三街派在仁川隧道打斗前的前战是在千湖洞一家娱乐场所里进行。不知道的人路过这里，还以为真是娱乐场所里在打架。rotary派的娱乐场所开业仪式上三街派来砸场子，剧组为了体现一个个卑劣的形象，并没有刻意安排好指定的武打动作，而是很大程度上让演员自己发挥，在娱乐场所里他们砸机器，激烈的打斗，影片打斗的真实性在这里也完全可以体现。娱乐场所里的打斗场面拍摄过后剧组发现娱乐机器已经坏掉了10台之多。
赵人成为做黑帮第二把交椅，身上纹了个龙
在考察实际的黑帮组织中剧组们得知黑帮组织根据自己在组织里的级别来确定纹身的大小和种类。因为炳斗是组织2号人物，所以背上要纹一只巨龙。从前胸开始一直围绕到后背底部的这个纹身花了一千万韩元。这个临时纹身的有效期为3天，雇佣了2位专门纹身专家，耗费了8小时的时间来完成的，赵仁成在这8小时里身子是不允许动的。在艰苦的努力下生动的龙纹身终于诞生了，这给赵仁成黑帮的形象创造了最大的威严。除了赵仁成的纹身外再加上他们rotary派的纹身的话纹身总共花了5千万韩元。
《马粥街残酷史》原班人马助阵《卑劣的街头》
电影《卑劣的街头》中有很多工作人员和导演是《马粥街残酷史》的原班人马。
包括崔善中监制在内摄影导演崔贤基、美术指导金基哲、武术指导申在明等《马粥街残酷史》剧组人员悉数到场助阵。除了工作人员外《马粥街残酷史》的演员们也加入到了《卑劣的街头》行列中。《马粥街残酷史》里的朴孝俊饰演《卑劣的街头》rotary派的组织成员，而实际上rotary派很多组织成员都曾在《马粥街残酷史》亮过相。《马粥街残酷史》的工作人员和演员们2年后的再次聚首，使《卑劣的街头》拍摄现场的气氛非常的热闹和谐。他们之间的默契可以从眼神开始，《卑劣的街头》能否再现《马粥街残酷史》300万观众的辉煌让我们拭目以待。
